RJackson Media is a Birmingham based production company. We create compelling videos and photography for nonprofits, small businesses, events, weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs, individuals, and families.

Founder Rusty Jackson is an award-winning broadcast journalist with more than five years of television news experience and more than ten years of experience as a documentary filmmaker in the non-profit industry. This work has taken him into the red-light districts of Thailand, slums of India and remote areas of Africa. No matter the working conditions, he's passionate about capturing a captivating story.

Ericka Jackson has years of experience both behind and in front of the camera - which helps her put our subjects at ease. She is deeply relational, and loves connecting with people to find out what sets their story apart.

Ericka has an incredible eye for details and posing, and functions as a stylist for each of our shoots. Her degree in Communication makes her excellent at consulting with clients and offering her unique marketing perspective. She also has a background as a photo journalist - from shooting military training in the US, to photography in orphanages, leper colonies, and villages around the world, including photography for the international nonprofit she is the Founder & Executive Director of. Her 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector helped hone her creative vision for our nonprofit clients. She knows how to tell stories that move people, and is passionate about equipping our clients with everything they need to further their mission!

Both Rusty & Ericka are storytellers at heart. Together, the Jacksons are taking their many years of photography and video knowledge and offering you an experience like no other.
